graphic

A federally funded project (2004-2006) by Marquette University to identify and describe Catholic records (originals, microfilm, and facsimiles) about American Indians held in 14 Western states. Also described are records where the Catholic originals are in Mexico but copies exist in the Western U.S.

The site, at http://www.marquette.edu/library/collections/archives/teaching.html, also includes a companion guide to American Indians held in 12 Midwestern states.
